Important Lunchroom Information from Ms. Toni

LunchRoom2The deadline to return free and reduced cost lunch forms is approaching! The forms must be filled out every school year, even if your student qualified the year before. The last day to submit your forms is September 26. It is important that you get them in, or your student will not be able to receive a free or reduced-cost lunch. He or she would then be charged the full price.

Make all checks out to Nutrition Services, with your students’ names in the memo area. This is so I will know to whose account to apply the funds. If your check is made out to Blaine School or Lunchroom, it will be returned back to you.

Enclosed in your packets will be the directions for pay pam. You can sign up online and apply money to your student’s pin account, if you would rather do this than send a check or cash. There is a fee for each credit card or debit card transaction, each time you apply funds online.

We are looking for two parent volunteers to help serve lunch to the elementary students. The hours are 11:20 to 12:20. Last year, we had parents pick a day, and they came in on that day during the whole school year. Due to the new lunch schedule, I’d like to open both serving tables so the lines are not too long, which would give the students more time to eat.
